Iconic British clothing designer Vivienne Westwood has proved that she continues to be a hit with the stars in providing the designer dresses of choice for not one, but three celebrities at a recent film premiere.
Personally, I have been a fan of Vivienne Westwood clothing since I was in nappies and so I am thrilled to see that her creations are getting the acclaim they deserve.
And the fact that three very different stars fashioned her designs on the red carpet at last week’s Alice in Wonderland premiere proves just how versatile her clothing is.
Helena Bonham-Carter, Anne Hathaway and the quickly emerging royal queen of fashion Camilla Parker-Bowles all chose creations by Vivienne Westwood that perfectly complemented their individual styles.
Quirky Helena Bonham-Carter accentuated her pale hues with an outlandish cream gothic creation that only she would be able to pull off, while Anne Hathaway took it more mainstream in a beautiful strapless chocolate sequin number.
Meanwhile, the Duchess of Cornwall is proving she is quickly earning her fashion stripes by sporting a flattering royal blue taffeta number.
And as well as being a simply amazing clothing designer, Vivienne Westwood is also doing her bit for the environment – she recently made a plea on BBC London Radio for fashion-lovers to only purchase clothes when they absolutely have to.
She suggested that buying designer clothing is a better choice for the environment as good-quality garments will last longer.
