Could it be that Samantha Cameron – wife of the Conservative leader David Cameron – is set to follow in the footsteps of Camilla Parker Bowles and become the latest unlikely fashion icon?
If her dodgy 90s modelling shots are anything to go by, then I don’t think the designer clothing world will be quaking in their boots.
When the saucy pics of SamCam emerged in this weekend’s Mail on Sunday, we here at Secret Sales HQ couldn’t quite believe what we were seeing.
And I have to admit, Samantha is fashioning a couple of good looks in the risqué snaps, most notably by embracing this season’s sheepskin trend in a beautiful suede coat.
Similarly, the red shift dress is an undoubtedly timeless classic (although perhaps David would have preferred it in blue), but whatever possessed the woman to don a vile white mini dress which wouldn’t look out of place in an Essex nightclub is beyond me.
And it would appear Samantha’s hubby is less than thrilled about the emergence of the pictures, which were taken back in the late 90s.
He told the BBC: "We were hoping they’d never appear, but they have. But these things happen."
Perhaps Samantha can redeem herself and join the ranks of the likes of Michelle Obama, Carla Bruni and even Sarah Brown, all of whom have definitely earned their stripes in the fashion stakes of late.
Do you think politician’s wives should make sure they keep up to date with the latest clothing trends?

Nice post…Thank you for sharing some good things!!
