It would appear that gold is fast becoming the colour to be seen in this season as a multitude of stars have been papped out and about wearing dazzling designer dresses in a variety of golden hues.
Our fellow fashionistas over at Grazia have spotted quirky Lady Gaga roaming the streets of London wearing a head-to-toe gold thread number by British clothing designer Craig Lawrence.
Naturally, the singer accessorised the piece with her beloved tea cup that she bizarrely seems to like to carry everywhere with her.
Perhaps one star who has been missing from our fashion pages of late, Lindsay Lohan has proved that she’s still got what it takes to rank high in the designer clothing stakes by sporting an eye-catching gold metallic mini-dress at a recent party in Milan.
Similarly, the beautiful Zoe Saldana – more recently seen as a less-than-flattering blue alien-like creature in Avatar – was positively glowing in a gold MaxMara shift dress at the clothing designer’s Milan Fashion Week show last week.
And it could be that we are set to see more of this trend over the coming months – Vogue recently eyed collections from the likes of Lanvin and Balmain, which have all showcased designer dresses in the upcoming shade of ‘grubby gold’.
