The ever-fabulous Agyness Deyn is a firm favourite here at Secret Sales HQ – not only does she manage to come up with designer clothing ensembles that many of us can only dream of, but she always seems to put her own unique stamp on every outfit she fashions.
And to be honest it was only a matter of time before she joined the ranks of celebrities such as Kate Moss and Alexa Chung by creating her own clothing line, which is why her recent collaboration with department store Barneys comes as no surprise.
The model’s first 11-piece collection for Barneys Japan – entitled I Am by Agyness Deyn for Barneys Green – was revealed on Tuesday (March 9th) at the store’s Kobe branch.
Featuring leggings, knitwear, dresses, tops and scarves, the line comes as part of Barneys new environmental initiative Go Green Go.
So not only has Agyness managed to produce a fabulous collection to rival that of a top designer, but she is also helping the planet, with proceeds from the clothing line being put towards the planting of trees in Mongolia.
Good on you, Agyness.
