After receiving so much praise for her designer dress choice at the London premiere of the Avatar film, the pressure must have really been on for actress Zoe Saldana.
She wowed the crowds at the Leicester Square event in a full-length silver Roland Mouret designer dress with necklace and shoulder details – while her co-stars Sigourney Weaver and Michelle Rodriguez opted for a more discreet look in black.
However, Zoe – who plays the female lead Neytiri in James Cameron’s latest epic – managed to pull it off again at the premiere in Los Angeles last night (December 16th) looking bang on trend in a white and metallic studded designer dress.
She teamed the dress with a pair of gold stiletto shoes.
This time around though, Michelle, who plays a pilot in the 3-D movie, opted for an attention-grabbing, full-length, fuchsia satin designer dress with ruche detail around the bottom.
According to website MillionLooks, however, blacks and browns are extremely on trend this autumn and winter season as they appeared in all of the designer clothing collections on the catwalks. It suggests that this may be due to labels reflecting the mood of the recession in their clothes.
