The comeback of designer heels has recently been hailed by Canadian writer Miranda Furtado as one of the best fashion moments of the past year – and I couldn’t agree more!
I particularly liked the H&M/Jimmy Choo collaboration, which saw designer shoes hit the high street at bargain prices!
This was a big hit with Canwest News writer Miranda as well – she said that the collection was one of the best designer/store collaborations of the year, along with Kate Moss’ line at Topshop.
She also wrote that she was thrilled to bid the dancewear trend farewell and put her ballet flats on the shelf in favour of "fun, sexy, sky-high heels". And over-the-knee boots are a great look with any outfit, she added, noting that they can give seasonal party dresses a bit of extra oomph.
Speaking of parties, this brings me to my latest fashion dilemma – designer shoes or boots on New Year’s Eve?
I’ll be ringing in the new year in style – wearing a grey and silver-sequinned minidress – but I can’t decide whether to pair it with my faithful Jimmy Choos or an exciting new pair of over-the-knee boots from Santa!
What do you think is the most stylish way to welcome 2010?

Hey!
You’re too cute!
Thank so much for reading!
PS LOVE the idea of the silver-sequinned minidress! I bought one in black
Have an amazing New Years! All the best for 2010!
