It’s official, Mark Ronson is Britain’s best-dressed man 2009, according to those in the know at GQ.
The publication’s website had a quote from Gavin and Stacey star Mathew Horne, who said "everything he wears just looks really good".
I’m not so sure I’m in entire agreement with GQ or indeed Mathew Horne on this one.
While Ronson always looks like he’s put plenty of effort into his appearance, I think that might just be his ultimate downfall.
Nobody likes a try-hard and Ronson, to me at least, looks as though he’s spent too many hours in front of the mirror preening himself to make it to the top of the list.
Other notable entries that snuck into the top ten were HRH Prince Charles, who managed to pip artist Lucien Freud into fifth place, thanks no doubt to his penchant for kilts and tweed suits.
Perhaps even more surprising was the fact that David Cameron, who managed to secure eighth place, beat David Beckham, who only just scrapped into the top ten.
